Sure enough, after about a year, my patio had sunk about 1.5 inches, with water seeping underneath and worsening the erosion. Fearing a costly nightmare, I reached out to Thrasher. After a badly misdiagnosed basement water issue with Groundworks, we were so happy to meet Mark at Thrasher! Mark was very knowledgeable and experienced in such issues. We had water... Read more coming in through the wall where the copper water main pipe was, yet no indication we had a water pipe leak. We'd had the water dept. out and no chlorine was detected so understood it was groundwater. And our attached neighbor did not have any visible water issues, no water in the basement or crawlspace, and no increased use in their water meter. Mark had come over to provide a temporary fix to redirect the water from the wall into the crawlspace, and to seal up the wall where the water was coming in. The way the water acted when sealing caused him to feel it was a water leak, not groundwater, so we got the water dept. out when Mark was there and this time a trace of chlorine was found in the water. Shortly after, the water dept. had a team out to investigate and found our neighbor actually had a leak between their home and the street! They turned off their water and after 5 weeks our stressful water issue was finally solved, and no work needed on our end! We will definitely have Mark and Thrasher do our concrete work, and highly recommend them! Mark truly cares about what he's doing and wants to get issues resolved correctly, not just get a sale, which seems so rare anymore! Thank you, Mark!!!
